2.8" TFT LCD Panel (Tufty 2350 Screen Replacement)

A 2.8" full-colour TFT IPS display (320 x 240 pixels), with adjustable backlight.

This is the big, bright TFT display that we use on Tufty 2350, Pimoroni Explorer and Pico Display Pack 2.8". If your badge has had an accident at a con or you've driven the display beyond its limits through glorious hacking and learning, this panel will serve as a replacement. Perhaps you might find it useful for your own designs too?

This is the display panel only! If you need a system that includes the gubbins to drive it, then check out Tufty 2350.

Notes

  • * Note that our casing and FPC are custom, so the mechanical drawing and pinout listed on the manufacturer datasheet are not correct. This drawing contains accurate dimensions and the correct FPC pinout.
  • The pirate approved method for removing stuck down displays is by heating them up with a hairdryer to soften the glue, and then carefully jimmying a credit card or spudger between the board and the display.
