Shipping Information

COVID-19 update - November 2021

Domestic and international couriers are still wrangling COVID related logistics issues, meaning that delivery times continue to be more unpredictable than usual. Some of the more sluggish standard shipping/Royal Mail parcels are taking up to 10 working days (UK) or a month (international) to arrive, though most parcels are arriving much more quickly than this.

You can find a list of advisory holiday shipping dates from our couriers here. In light of the above though, we'd recommend getting your presents ordered as early as possible to avoid disappointment on Christmas morning!

In addition, the Christmas rush coupled with the exciting new COVID variant means that we are not able to offer in person collection for your orders even if you're lucky enough to live near the good ship Pimoroni, sorry!

Brexit update - July 2021

We are still shipping to our friends in the EU! 💙

New procedures mean that we're seeing customs delays with some EU parcels - we're doing everything we can on our end to make sure all parcels pass through the choppy waters of bureaucracy safely.

We are now registered with the IOSS in the EU, which means that for any order with a value of €150 or less before shipping we will now collect VAT when you place your order. This means that for qualifying orders couriers will no longer need to collect VAT at the border, which is the cause of a lot of the delays we've seen. If needed, our IOSS number is IM5280005270

Please note that for orders over €150, or for orders shipping outside the UK & EU, VAT will not be charged on our store and import VAT may still need to be collected by the courier. Sorry about that, we didn't set the threshold!

Shipping

We offer shipping to almost any destination in the world (exceptions are at the bottom of the page). We try to ensure our shipping rates are as competitive as possible.

Our standard shipping service uses Royal Mail. Most orders we send by standard shipping are untracked, so if you need faster, tracked shipping we'd suggest choosing UPS or DHL as your shipping option. Please bear in mind though that UPS and DHL provide next working day delivery, so if you want delivery on a Saturday Royal Mail is your best option.

If you place your order before 14:00 GMT on a weekday, then we'll do our best to dispatch it the same day, however, at very busy times this may not be possible.

All delivery estimates are from point of dispatch, not from point of sale.

You will receive an email when your order is dispatched.

We're happy to ship to parcel forwarding companies, as long as you select a tracked shipping method (such as UPS or DHL) at checkout.

Shipping to PO boxes

Please note that our couriers DHL and UPS do not ship to PO boxes

Standard Royal Mail shipping costs a flat fee of £3.00 inc. VAT. We always ship using the Royal Mail 24 service, which in most cases delivers the next day following dispatch

*** We only offer UPS shipping to this destination. Local postal services have shown poor levels of service, with high levels of delayed and lost deliveries.

Shipments to non-UK destinations

You may be liable for import duties, sales tax, or customs processing fees if you’re outside of the UK. It’s your responsibility to ensure you’re fully aware of the local requirements for importing goods from the UK to your location. We cannot offer any refunds due to unexpected charges applied locally.

We are required to include a commercial invoice with all shipments leaving the UK. We will never falsely report the value or contents of a shipment.
