Stainless Steel K-type Thermocouple
This K-type thermocouple has a stainless steel probe (20cm) and braided steel cable (1.3m). It's ideal for situations where durability and tolerance of extreme conditions are required when measuring temperatures, like ovens or freezers.
Thermocouples like these ones measure temperature at the very tip, so you'll want to put the tip of it at the point where you want the temperature reading to be taken.
You'll need a thermocouple amplifier, like our MCP9600 Thermocouple Amplifier Breakout, to use this thermocouple to measure temperatures.

Works great along with MCP9600 - connected to a Pi Zero to monitor the interior temperature of the hot smoker :-)

Larger than i expected, thats good tough. Tip isn't thinner or pointy. No problem tough, and quality seems very high.

ITs a bit bigger than i expected, its intended for permanent fitting via a mounting hole, but thats my fault for not reading properly, but it will still suit my purposes anyway and its dead good quality
