In-line power switch for 2.1mm barrel jack

by Adafruit

Add a power switch to any project simply by plugging this between the power supply.

This is the most useful thing you never knew you needed! You'll want to pick up a bunch for your electronic projects.

Comes with a 5.5/2.1mm barrel jack on one end an a plug on the other. In between is an in-line switch that is rated for 125V and 2Amps (its normally used for lamps, we suppose). Since most people will be using it with no more than 12VDC, we think it can probably handle up to 5A at that voltage.

First venture into ESP32, picked this version as it had the built in battery charger. Having worked with Arduino and Raspberry pi, I coped quite well with this new to me board. Plenty of help on the web for assistance. I should have opted for the version with pre-soldered headers.

A super handy little ESP32 development board. Particularly so since it has a built in LiPO charger - which you can connect a cell to via the JST connector, or by one of the pins.

Love these boards! Easy access to all the pins you need, small enough for embedded projects and good examples from Adafruit make it easy to get up and running. Feather eco-system is a boon for makers!
