8BitDo Zero 2 Bluetooth Gamepad

by 8BitDo

The Zero 2 controller is absolutely minute! Smaller than a pack of playing cards and weighing just a shade over 20g, this keychain-sized Bluetooth gamepad makes a perfect pocket-sized robot controller, or second (or third) controller for multiplayer Nintendo Switch games. Available in three colours: teal, pink, and yellow.

It's compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, Steam, Switch, and especially great in our mind for Raspberry Pi Retro Gaming (RetroPie, Picade, Lakka, etc)! It's rechargeable (over micro-USB, cable included) and will give you about 8 hours' play on a single charge.

8BitDo make a fantastic range of high-quality games controllers, modelled after some of the classic games consoles. Their whole range is beautifully-designed and well-made; a cut above your average retro games controller.

This was a gift for my partner who has a Raspberry Pi - arrived promptly and in perfect condition, plus he was very happy with them. Minimalist without being too small for human hands!

Tiny but really comfortable, even for someone like me who has quite big hands! Doesn't rumble or have motion controls but for the price is a winner. Looks great too! Bought the yellow one as well.

Oh my god this thing is so cute !!! I didn't expect it to be so tiny (7.5 x 4.0 cm / 2.9 x 1.6 in). I used it with a Raspberry Pi 4, under Raspberry Pi OS. It paired immediately from the Pi's desktop. Even though it's minuscule, it is easy to use and even my fat fingers find their way to each buttons without problem. Awesome little device to control a robot or to play games !

Really nice little controller, worth noting the D Pad shows up as an analogue signal though, it works fine but confused me for a minute.

Exactly what I expected. Tried with windows 10 and it works right away. Extremely tiny and cute, not quite as thin to fit in a wallet, but definitely small enough to be used as a keychain, as it even comes with the little corner hole thingy to attach it to a lace thing or a key ring. Since it's this tiny though, don't expect anything particularly sturdy or comfortable to use. Normal adult hands will have agility problems for games that require the quick use of the two triggers, but it's surprisingly easy to get used to how close XYAB buttons are to each other. Other nitpick thing is that the position of XYAB buttons is like on a nintendo controller, but when connected on windows, it will be seen as a xbox/PC controller, so games will tell you to press "A", when in fact you have to press "B", and "X" when you have to press "Y", and so on. Also, I have used it for a very small amount of time, so can't vouch for how long it last. But damn it, it's so tiny and pink and cute, I love it!
