Slim Chiclet Keyboard

A compact wired keyboard with Chiclet style key layout. This is by far our favourite little keyboard for toting around with a Raspberry Pi!

Great to tuck behind the TV, in a drawer, or throw into your bag when you're roaming free.

The worst, cheapest keyboard I have ever had the misfortune to use. It freqently misses keystrokes. Used it for half an hour then put it in the e-waste bin.

The keyboard is excellent, except for the fact that some keys aren't that easy to press at times.

Really nice keyboard for the price, plus it's nice and light and doesn't take up much room when it's not in use. Using a UK layout in Pi OS, the keys that don't have the right legends on them are mostly what I'm used to from using a small Sejin UK keyboard with my PC - so the trick is not to look. Since this one has a few less keys, there are a couple of characters which aren't a single keystroke or shifted key stroke, but can be reached using the right ALT key (the Alt key to the right of the space bar, which is used like a Shift key). \ (back slash) is Right-Alt used with the "-" key near top right) "|" (sometime pronounced "pipe", in Linux) is Right-Alt used with the top left key. FWIW, keys can be remapped in Linux, and it's fairly easy to find one of the ways of doing that. I haven't yet tried, but I assume that applies to Pi OS too, since it's based on Debian Linux.

This keyboard is doing just what I bought it for. Filling in while I set up a soon to be headless RPi computer. It is just the right size and price, and so far very reliable. I may even buy another one. I used to not like the chiclet-style keyboards, but the keys on this keyboard have more movement and are more similar to a regular keyboard.

This is a US keyboard but this is not made clear in the title, just the last item on the descriptin. Hopeless for use in UK.

The first one did not work on one line of the board, unfortunately I only tested it several months after purchase. I explained this to Pimoroni and they sent me a replacement without any bother. Anyway the new 'board seems to work fine and has a nice touch to the keys. It being U.S. layout is the only real downside.

Good reliable keyboard, if used this model with raspberry pi before. Bought it at half price and I'm over the moon.

I purchased this to use in conjunction with my new Raspberry Pi 4. The keyboard was really well priced and is small enough to not get in the way. Really pleased with the product. Might upgrade in the future to a wireless connection, but I'm more than happy with the Slim Chiclet keyboard for now.

Second purchase of this model of keyboard. Good size and easy to use. Can be difficult to see "Caps Lock" & "Num Lock" lights but this is only a minor problem - knew this when ordering. Would order again if needed.

Handy little keyboard so I don't have to keep switching USB between computers / projects and it doesn't take up much space on the desk.
