Raspberry Pi 4 Official Case

by Raspberry Pi

The official Raspberry Pi 4 case, designed by Raspberry Pi to be an inexpensive, easy option for protecting your Pi 4.

  • Optional clip-on lid provides protection, but can be removed if you are using a HAT.
  • All primary ports (including micro-SD) accessible*
  • Snug and secure fit protects your Pi 4 while looking great
  • Anti-slip feet keeps your Raspberry Pi 4 stable
  • Power and activity lights still visible through the end of the case

Notes

  • * This case does not allow access to the Pi's GPIO or camera ports whilst the lid is fitted. For a case with easier access to the GPIO and CSI/DSI ports check out our Pibow 4 case!
  • This case will accommodate a heatsink or case fan. However there are no vents for airflow so if you're planning on your Pi getting super toasty, you might want to consider something like a heatsink case instead.

Used it to light and add sounds to a Lego build. i haven’t used the wifi properly yet, the examples just use an api call to get a single value and then use that to affect the lights. It would be nice to have longer cables or extensions for the JST-SUR connectors without having to use the 6 way expansion strips. Otherwise, love it!

A great effects board using the small led strings that are becoming very popular. Easy to get using as long as you have Thonny. The onboard LEDs make sequencing ideas so easy. I now need to learn to control it using wifi đź‘Ť then add it to one of my Lego builds.
