Easy to assemble and bright. Had to use a third party image to get it working as a keyboard, but it works great as a macro pad :)

This is an awesome accessory and looks great in practice! The buttons have a great feel and responsiveness to them and look great when lit up. I'm using this as a sound mixer for D&D and can't wait for my next session!

It's very cute. I like it. I'm using it to build a handy cyberdeck and I think I'll be buying a second soon. There are example libraries available and step-by-step instructions that were very helpful to a novice like me. I would have liked an example connecting something to the Pico using the I2C bus because the keyboard uses it too. But chatGPT helped me out and wrote the code I needed :)

Assembly was super easy. It feels very high quality. The only soldering I did was adding headers to the Pi. LEDs are very bright.

This is an amazing little project! led are extremely bright and it's super easy to understand how to get it working with the online resources. 10/10 would squish again.

This rocks, it's the second one I've bought now because I couldn't stand to part with my first one when it was built into a project.

It is an excellent piece of kit. The keys can be sticky if you overtighten the base top so just be careful with that. The keys work well and the leds are great!

A great project that my 7 year old really enjoyed. Once we followed the tutorials, program modification was straight forward. In addition, it does look really cool and impressive.

I'm adding the keypad base to Raspberry Pi Pico kits I'm putting together for our Toys for Tots Christmas donations later this year. I'm sure the recipients, not tots but 12-and-up girls and boys, will love these colorful keypads and hopefully begin a lifetime of adventures in technology.

This keypad is way cooler than I expected, the tutorials online are very user-friendly too and I was able to set this up as a drumpad in Ableton within 10 mins. I highly recommend this product if you're looking to get into circuitpython or generally just want a new project!

This is amazing! Attached an lcd display to this as well and made a simple calculator. The kids love the different colours and has really sparked my daughters interest in coding!

One of the most enjoyable things to practice and learn python on. Highly recommended as an introduction to Pico, microcontrollers, and coding.

Nice tidy board - Greta buttons and lighting combination :) I’ve coded it as a USB keyboard and serial port combination to provide inputs to Microsoft flight simulator to control lights and autopilot. I’ve also mapped some keyboard combinations for screen shot and video recording. Very useful!

A awesome bit of kit, the lights are vibrant and the squish is really great! I’m planning a usb macro pad that might be used at work as a reset key for a remote device

The keypad is awesome. The build quality is very good, the parts come neatly packaged, and setting it up is straightforward. However, brace yourself if you're ordering from outside of UK, as customs clearance could take weeks.

Fantastic item at a great price. This item has allowed me to create my own USB keypad to control video scenes for use in my medical education broadcasts and in my job as a radiologist. These items usually retail for 10 x the price of this kit, which was easy to assemble and code using Circuit Python. I also added a 3d printed case as a finishing touch

It's super nice. Waiting for a few more examples on the MicroPython side, but the physical product is excellent (as expected from Pimoroni).

Beautifully crafted and easy to assemble, it’s also very fun to experiment with and use. The leds are truly beautiful, the buttons are silent and squishy, and you can start finding a lot of code examples on C, MicroPython and CircuitPython. Check my video with a demo of a macro pad https://twitter.com/dottxado/status/1360658044330377226

I love this. The colours are bright and clear, and very tactile, and there are plenty of potential applications for it if you need an excuse to get hands on with the Pico.

Easy to put together, the colours are good and the keys are very soft. This would be a great project for children who are in primary or early secondary.

Cool addition to the Raspberry pi pico. Important to remember to download the setup files from Pimorini when using with the pico to ensure you have the correct setup for usage. The demo python device in my case was useful for getting started programming. I’ve used this for a lighting setup for online video conferencing already!

Perfect and very nice board to start with the pico. Very many possible applications. Only one open wish: a nice optional enclosure.

This thing is so much fun. Currently using it as a Midi Controller for Garageband over on iPad pro over usb C. Fun part about it is that with the Pico and circuitPython, I can code it using the Textastic App and quickly update the code and get back to work making sweet sweet beats.
