235mm micro-HDMI to standard HDMI adapter cable

by Raspberry Pi

Connect your Raspberry Pi 4 to a standard HDMI cable with this lovely little adapter

The move to a micro-HDMI port on the Raspberry Pi 4 meant that for the first time the Raspberry PI could support high quality dual screens, but what do you do if your setup is based around standard HDMI cables?

Sure, you could buy a snazzy new micro-HDMI to HDMI cable, or you could just pick up this dinky little adapter!

At just 235mm long it won't add much to your cable run, and because its been sourced from Raspberry Pi themselves you can rest assured in their high quality standards.

Very useful indeed. I have a single monitor fed by an HDMI cable and this is usually connected to my laptop. The monitor is wall mounted with only one HDMI input and it's a pain to get behind the thing and change the cable. As an alternative to an inconvenient second HDMI cable I used a short converter plug to use with the Pi but this tends to push against the power connection and I always worried about damaging the Pi sockets. This adapter cable fits neatly, doesn't stress anything, and is a short enough length that it doesn't get in the way. I'm going to get another one for my Pi4.
