Innr Zigbee GU10 Spot Bulbs 2-Pack

by innr

A pair of smart spot light bulbs with wireless dimming. Available in warm white, comfort/tunable white and colour/RGBW versions.

We love smart bulbs as they enable you to make your home smart without having to mess with mains wiring or install special light switches. They also let you add smart functionality bit by bit, without having to upgrade everything all at once.

Hook them up to a Zigbee smart home hub (we recommend Home Assistant) and you’ve got wireless control and gentle dimming at your fingertips. They come in a handy two-pack, because - let's face it - nobody stops at just one.

These smart bulbs are compatible with GU10 spot light fittings and available in three different styles:

  • Warm White
A high quality fixed colour temperature (2700K) bulb that gives a warm and cosy glow.
  • Comfort
Adjustable colour temperature (from a cosy 2200K to a crisp 6500K) to suit your mood - be it a relaxing evening or a focused work session.
  • Colour
Choose from 16 million colours to create the perfect atmosphere! Unlike cheap RGB bulbs, these bulbs have an extra white element which means they can produce bright, good quality whites and pastels, as well as vivid colours.

Features

These bulbs are the perfect upgrade for incandescent bulbs, halogen bulbs or boring non-smart LED bulbs.

  • 💡 Smart Control
Operate your lights remotely or on in response to events and timers with a suitable Zigbee hub.
  • 🔗 Wide Compatibility
Works seamlessly with Home Assistant and other Zigbee enabled Smart Home solutions like Philips Hue.
  • ⚡ Energy Efficient
LED bulbs have much higher lumen to watt ratio compared to traditional bulbs, which means savings on your electricity bill. Halogen bulbs get you in the region of 25 lumens per watt, whilst these (warm white) bulbs emit 94 lumens per watt.
  • 🐘 Long Lifespan
They also last a lot longer! You can expect between 20,000 and 50,000 hours of illumination from these bulbs, depending on type. 50,000 hours is 15 years at 8 hours per day use.
  • 👌 Easy Installation
Fits into any GU10/spot light socket (even those annoying recessed ones).

To use Zigbee devices, you’ll need a Zigbee-compatible USB dongle connected to an always-on computer (a Raspberry Pi is ideal!) or a dedicated smart home solution like the excellent Home Assistant Green (with Zigbee dongle) or the Sonoff iHost.

What Is Zigbee?

Zigbee is a wireless standard enabling low-power, secure connections between smart devices. Widely used in home automation for devices such as thermostats, sensors, and locks, its energy efficiency allows some devices to operate for years on a single coin cell battery.

One of Zigbee’s greatest advantages is its local nature – no need for cloud subscriptions or even an internet connection. Everything can remain within your home, ensuring both high security and resilience against internet outages.

Top brands like IKEA, Innr, Philips Hue, Tuya, and Sonoff offer Zigbee-supported devices. This allows you to combine products from various manufacturers into one smart home setup, ensuring you’re not locked into a single vendor – brilliant!

With an indoor range of 10–100 metres and extended outdoor coverage, Zigbee’s mesh networking ensures reliable communication, even if some devices go offline. Its robust security features, including encryption and key protection, safeguard your smart home and keep it under your control.
