Orb-ZBW1 is a slim Zigbee smart wall switch for adding smart control to your lighting.
Once it's installed, there's still a proper button on the wall that works just like any other light switch. Connect it to a Zigbee hub and you can also control your lights from your phone or voice assistant, set schedules, or have them come on automatically with motion or door/window sensors.
It only needs 21mm of depth behind the wall, so it fits shallow back boxes, and it handles loads of up to 10A. It also acts as a Zigbee router, so it'll strengthen your Zigbee network as well as turning your lights on and off.
This is a Zigbee device, so you'll need a compatible hub to use its smart features. It also needs mains wiring with a neutral wire - if you're not confident installing it safely, ask a qualified electrician.
Get Smart, Automate!
This is a smart switch, so the fun really begins when you connect it to your home automation system.
Set schedules so the lights come on at dusk, or link it with a presence sensor for hands-free lighting. Got smart bulbs? Detach relay mode keeps them powered all the time, with the button sending commands to your smart home instead, so they don't drop offline when someone presses it.
Pair it with a Sonoff Zigbee hub such as the ZBBridge-P, NSPanel Pro or iHost and control your lights from anywhere with the eWeLink app. It also works with Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi or Home Assistant Green (with a Zigbee adapter), and other Zigbee 3.0 hubs including SmartThings and some Amazon Echo devices.

Notes
- Don't have a neutral wire? Pair the Sonoff Zigbee Smart Relay (No Neutral) with the no-neutral wall switch enclosure (E1GSL) to make an equivalent switch.
- This switch is built around the ZBMINI Extreme (ZBMINIR2) Zigbee relay. If you'd rather keep your existing switches, you can buy the relay on its own and fit it behind them.
What is Zigbee?
Zigbee is a low-power wireless standard made specifically for smart home gadgets like sensors, switches and lights. It sips power so it's perfect for battery-powered devices that need to keep going for months (or years) between battery swaps.
Zigbee devices form a mesh network, with mains-powered devices like smart plugs and bulbs passing messages along for their neighbours. The more devices you add, the stronger and further-reaching your network gets.
It also works locally, so your devices keep chatting to your hub even if your internet decides to take the day off. That means snappier responses, better reliability and improved privacy. It's supported by loads of manufacturers too, so mixing and matching brands is no problem.
