They're IP66 rated which means they should stand up to dust, moisture and nasty weather (up to and including modest jets of water and 'heavy seas'), but they won't protect against total immersion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tops of the small (65 x 95mm) and medium (125 x 125mm) boxes are secured with sturdy plastic screws (which can be operated with a large Philips screwdriver), while the large \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e(220 x 170mm) \u003c\/span\u003ebox has a hinged lid that closes with clips.
