The built-in effects are much much nicer than just 'on' and 'off' and will make your haptic project a way nicer feeling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAccording to the product page, it can be used with both LRA (Linear Resonance Actuator) and ERM (Eccentric Rotating Mass) type motors \u003ca href=\"\/en-eu\/products\/vibrating-mini-motor-disc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003ebut Adafruit have only used it with their little vibration pancake ERM.\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAdafruit added an onboard 3.3V regulator and logic-level shifting circuitry, making it a perfect choice for interfacing with any 3V or 5V microcontroller or computer, such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi. They've got both \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/learn.adafruit.com\/adafruit-drv2605-haptic-controller-breakout\/arduino-code\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eArduino (C\/C++)\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/learn.adafruit.com\/adafruit-drv2605-haptic-controller-breakout\/python-circuitpython\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eCircuitPython (Python 3) libraries\u003c\/a\u003e available so you can use it with any microcontroller like Arduino, ESP8266, Metro, etc, or with Raspberry Pi or other Linux computers, thanks to Blinka (the CircuitPython library support helper).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs if that weren't enough, they've also added \u003ca href=\"\/en-eu\/collections\/qwiic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eSparkFun qwiic\u003c\/a\u003e compatible \u003ca href=\"\/en-eu\/collections\/stemma-qt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eSTEMMA QT\u003c\/a\u003e connectors for the I2C bus so you don't even need to solder. For a no-solder experience, just wire up to your favorite micro using a STEMMA QT adapter cable. The Stemma QT connectors also mean the breakout can be used with our various associated accessories.
