Pibow and the Camera Module

The camera module is in a lot of hands now. The number one question we're getting is "when do we get a Pibow camera layer?"

The good news is: you've already got one!

The fetching layering of the Pibow means you can just thread that cable between 2 layers. We recommend 7 and 8. You can also go freestyle about which way it goes out, even at right angles as the cable can be surprisingly robust. Do so at your own risk though :-)

For those of you who want a more traditional route to the outside world, we're now offering a replacement top layer with a camera slot. We've also taken the opportunity to offer a base with a slot for the Adafruit and pIO microSD adaptors. This is very much in the style of the Modela case.

If that wasn't enough, we're also launching a no-frills, Pimoroni-style camera mount. This will allow you to have you camera on the desktop, with an adjustable angle and slightly more protection then a bare board. There are 4 angles you can clip the board at, and a 1/4 inch mounting hole if you want to attach it to a tripod.
